You’ll choose from an assortment of colorful, vintage and unexpected glass plates, bowls and dishes and combine them into your own stacked glass creation. Try different colors, patterns and shapes until you find a combination you love.

Your $35 ticket includes up to three glass plates and class instruction. Additional plates are $10 each, cash only on the day of the event.

No Art Experience Needed

You do not need to consider yourself artistic or crafty to join us. This class is designed to guide you through the process step by step, so you can relax, experiment and create something completely your own.

Come with a friend, bring a group—or come by yourself and meet someone new. Small classes like this are meant to feel welcoming, social and easy to walk into, even if you’ve never done anything like it before.

Where This Little Idea Started

Our first class reminded us why small community events matter. Six women around a table may not sound like a huge event—but that’s exactly the point. People got out of the house, tried something new, talked, laughed and created together.

A very special thank you to Debbie Soltis for teaching our first class and to Shari Bock for helping arrange our original location at Cass City High School.

Next Stop: Bad Axe

Our next class is coming to Bad Axe thanks to Brittany Kirsh, who helped us arrange the space at Family Farm & Home. One person makes a connection, someone opens a door, and suddenly there’s something new happening in town.

Sip, Style, Social organizes experiences like this one, while Grow Your Town tells the larger story of how small events and local participation help strengthen our communities.

One thing we learned from our first class was that slow-drying adhesive makes the ride home tricky. For this class, we’re improving the process. We’ll design first and glue second using a faster-setting clear adhesive suitable for glass and ceramic projects.
