Christmas in the Village returns to Cass City, Michigan on Saturday, December 5, 2026, with a full day of reindeer, Santa, horse-drawn wagon rides, cocoa, Christmas shopping, chili, a free Christmas movie and a lighted Christmas parade.
And this year, there's even more happening.
Christmas in the Village has a brand-new online home, new ways to participate, and an easy way for visitors and locals to stay connected as more details are announced.

There’s something new for 2026 that we’re really excited about — and it’s for both our Cass City locals AND everyone planning to make the drive to Christmas in the Village!
You can now voluntarily register online to let us know you’re planning to join us and receive event updates as December 5 gets closer. Whether you live five minutes away or you’re planning a Michigan Christmas day trip to Cass City, we want to make it easier for you to know what’s happening, when it’s happening and what’s new.
As Christmas in the Village grows, registration also helps us better understand who is coming and where our visitors are traveling from. That helps us plan for the day, communicate important information and continue making Christmas in the Village even better.
Registration is completely voluntary. You do NOT need a ticket or registration to attend Christmas in the Village.Think of it as raising your hand and saying:
“Yep, we’re planning to be there — keep us in the Christmas loop!” 🎄❤️
Then, as new activities, schedules and important event details are announced, you’ll have an easy way to stay connected.

That's when the village begins to glow for the DTE Lighted Christmas Parade.
The whole idea is to give people time to SHOP • EAT • EXPLORE • WARM UP • STAY AWHILE.

The Christmas Craft Show gives visitors a chance to shop from makers, artisans and small businesses while they're spending the day in Cass City.
And we're looking for vendors for 2026.

The website is being built as the central place to check what's happening, follow the schedule, plan your visit and find important visitor information as December 5 gets closer.
