There will probably be suspicious looks.
There will almost certainly be laughter.
And there's a very good possibility our mischievous holiday visitor will cause a little trouble along the way.
This isn't about asking your children to sit perfectly still and smile at a camera for 15 minutes.
We're giving them something to experience — and photographing what happens.
Come for the experience.
Stay and discover Cass City.
A Different Kind of Halloween Event in Tuscola County
15 minutes. A whole Christmas story.
We recently tested this experience with four little girls.
In just 15 minutes, we created approximately 20 completely different photographs.
We got the beautiful Christmas portraits.
But we also got the stuff you can't plan.
The giggles.
The side-eye.
The high five.
The conversations between sisters.
The storytelling.
And a few moments that went completely off script.
Those might be our favorites.
That's exactly what Christmas Crashes Halloween is designed to create.
A little Christmas chaos. A lot of personality. And photographs that actually feel like your kids.

Make a Day of Halloween in Cass City, Michigan
Christmas Crashes Halloween isn't meant to be a reason to drive into Cass City for 15 minutes and immediately leave.
We want you to make a day of it.
Start Halloween morning with the Witches Ride, Walk & Dog Walk at 9:00 AM at Ben's Supercenter.
Afterward, join us for the Witches Brew Social at the Northwood Lakes Condo Association Pavilion.

Christmas crashes the party.
Is it ridiculously early?
Absolutely.
That's precisely why it's fun.
One of the ideas behind Grow Your Town is incredibly simple:
The event doesn't have to be the entire destination. It can be the reason you came.
If you're traveling from elsewhere in Tuscola County or Michigan's Thumb for Christmas Crashes Halloween, we want you to discover more while you're here.
Have breakfast before your experience.
Grab coffee afterward.
Stop for lunch.
Browse a local shop.
Attend another community activity.
Stay for dinner.
Come for one thing. Discover five more.
As Halloween gets closer, we'll continue sharing local stops and other things happening in and around Cass City so you can turn one little experience into a day out.
Why We're Creating Small Events in Tuscola County
Christmas Crashes Halloween isn't just about photographs.
It's a Sip, Style, Social experience created as part of Grow Your Town.
We're testing a simple idea right here in Cass City:
What if small experiences could help grow small towns?
Tuscola County is filled with small communities, independent businesses and places people may drive past without ever having a reason to stop.
We want to help create that reason.
Create something people genuinely want to attend.
Give local families more things to do.
Give families from neighboring communities a reason to make the drive.
Then help those visitors discover local restaurants, shops, businesses and other community events while they're here.
The experience gets you here. The town gives you a reason to stay.
That's how a 15-minute experience can turn into an afternoon spent in Cass City.
And if it works here?
We can do it again in another small town.
That's Grow Your Town.
Your Experience Helps Create the Next One
We're also experimenting with a different way to help fund small community experiences.
$10 from every Christmas Crashes Halloween experience will be set aside to help create future Grow Your Town community experiences.
Instead of continually asking local businesses for another sponsorship or asking the community for another donation, what if we create experiences people actually want to attend?
Then a little piece of each experience helps create the next one.
One small event helps create another.
More reasons to get together.
More reasons to visit.
More opportunities for local businesses.
More things happening in our small towns.
That's Grow Your Town.
Plan Your Halloween Day in Cass City
Come for the Witches Ride, Walk & Dog Walk.
Stay for the Witches Brew.
Eat somewhere local.
Do a little shopping.
Bring the kids for some completely ridiculous early Christmas fun.
And discover somewhere you haven't been before.
Because when we're creating Halloween events in Tuscola County, we don't want to simply add another event to the calendar.
We want to create a reason to go somewhere.
And on Halloween, that somewhere is Cass City.
